BEYD B SUMAC – FRIED EGGS WITH CRISPY PITA CRUMBS AND SUMAC
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- Some shredded pita bread (in very small pieces)
- 2 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp of Sumac (spice found in any lebanese grocery)
- Salt to taste
Preparation
In a pan, slightly fry the bread in the olive oil then sprinkle 1/2 tsp of Sumac over the crumbs. Add eggs on top. Cover and keep covered until the egg white is fully cooked or to taste, depending on how you like your eggs. Add salt and the remaining 1/2 tsp of Sumac.
