Batata Harra – Spicy Lebanese Potato Side Dish with Coriander
When you are short of ideas for an accompaniment dish, try this incredible Lebanese Batata Harra. So delicious, yet so simple to make!
Ingredients
- 6 large red potatoes
- 1 cup of chopped coriander
- 6 cloves of minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper ( or to taste, depending on how spicy you like it)
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 1 tbsp of fresh lemon juice
Preparation
Peel and cut the potatoes into medium size cubes (2,5 cm). Toss with olive oil and spread on a baking sheet and cook in oven on 400 degrees F, for 20 to 25 minutes or until well cooked. In a pan on medium heat, fry altogether the coriander, garlic and olive oil, add potatoes and toss for 2 minutes, add the lemon juice and season.
